Local Inspired Art

Previously, whilst living in the Sultanate of Oman, I was already fascinated by Islamic Geometrics and the cultural heritage of the Arabs in general.

As the year are going by, I am even becoming more fascinated by the complexity, yet simplicity and beauty of Islamic Geometry.

This, combined with all things that happened in my life, in terms of friendship as well as all beautiful environment in this region, has guided me to this direction.

Many weekends are spend at my most favourite place of all times: the beautiful desert of Liwa, in the al Dhafrah region. This region,  is where the part of the Rub Al Khali desert begins.

​

In Liwa, we are blessed to spend a lot of time with our amazing Local friends, who managed to open my heart even more so, for this country, and the culture.

So basically, this is a page where i like to pay tribute to the place and to the people, where my heart thrives.
