About Shamani
Hello and welcome to Shamani Art.

Originally, I am from the Netherlands.
In my home country, I studied at the arts academy in Maastricht.
​
Currently I am living in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
I have been living in the Middle East region since 2000, where I also studied the teaching method of Montessori. (Early childhood education).
​
I used to teach art classes to children, up until the age of 12 years.
Plus, I have participated in all art video's on you tube, for the Makooky company.
In addition, I have done many projects for Theater sets in Oman, and many murals for various companies.
​
Lately, I am focusing on my own Arts, as I have the time and space again.
​
I have never been able to limit myself to 1 certain style, as I am is always on a artistic journey to explore any new ideas.
​
Most recent, I have become extremely fascinated by the lifestyle, culture, and heritage of the U.A.E. , as I have developed a deep love and admiration for the country, and the beautiful , Emirati People.
The name "Shamani" , originates from the Bedouin tribes. This name was given to me by my local friends, and I hold this name with great pride.

Other sections on this website, embody some of my own life experiences. Whereas other works, such as murals, are purely as per customer request.
